PNP Programs
To be eligible for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), you should possess the skills, education, and work experience that can benefit the economy of a specific province or territory in Canada. You should also have the desire to live in that province and the intention to become a permanent resident of Canada.
Your application method for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) stream depends on the specific stream’s requirements, and you may apply either through the non-Express Entry or Express Entry process.
Non-Express Entry process
- Apply to the province or territory for nomination under a non-Express Entry stream.
- Meet the eligibility requirements set by the nominating province or territory.
- Upon nomination, apply for permanent residence online.
- As part of the process, undergo a medical examination and obtain a police certificate.
- Note that application processing times are usually longer than those through Express Entry.
Express Entry process
In the online Express Entry process, there are 2 ways to apply:

If a province or territory expresses interest through a “notification of interest,” contact them directly. 3. Apply to their Express Entry stream. 4. Upon nomination, the province or territory will electronically send a nomination certificate to your account, and you accept it. |
