The New PR Pathway for Individuals from Colombia, Haiti, and Venezuela with family ties in Canada.

Foreign nationals from Colombia, Haiti, and Venezuela, and residing in Central or South America or the Caribbean, with family connections in Canada, now have the chance to apply for this recently launched PR Pathway.

If you’re from Colombia, Haiti, or Venezuela, you may apply for Permanent Residence in Canada under this new Pathway if you meet the eligibility criteria.

The eligibility and document requirements for the Principal Applicant:

  1. Passport from Colombia, Haiti, or Venezuela.
  2. PR Card Photo.
  3. Optionally (not required but beneficial): Any document like a driver’s license, identity document, or utility bills to demonstrate your presence in Central or South America, the Caribbean, or Mexico when submitting your application.
  4. Documents verifying your relationship with the sponsor: Birth Certificate, marriage certificate, or any other documents such as national ID cards from your home country to confirm family ties.
  5. Police certificate for any country, excluding Canada, where you stayed continuously for 6 months or more since turning 18.

The required documents for the Sponsor:

  1. Status documents: PR card/Canadian Passport.
  2. A statutory declaration.
  3. Any additional identification such as a driver’s license, provincial ID.
  4. Documents to demonstrate your financial well-being.
